Good bye Harrson Plaza!

We came across word that Harrison Plaza, a mall built in the 1976, is going to give way to a new development.
It was the first mall of its kind in Metro Manila.

The area where the mall was built was named after Francis Burton Harrison. He was Governor-General of the Philippines from 1913 to 1921 and advocated for and oversaw the process of Filipinization, or the transfer of authority to Filipinos in the United States territory's Insular Government to better prepare for independence.
